Imagine the TRINITY (God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) as a tree.
— God as roots that support and ground the tree and reach out to find good soil in which to grow;
— Jesus as trunk, branches and leaves that give visible shape to the Holy Presence, the visible aspect of God who helps us to see God’s intention for our lives;
— Spirit as the energy that flows through the whole tree giving life to roots, trunk, branches and leaves and reaching out beyond the tree into the surroundings
It’s hard to separate the parts.
Every part is essential.
Every part works with every other part.
Every part needs every other part.
