Based on Mark 1:29-39

       When Jesus healed, he healed and restored the whole person. The followers of Jesus Christ are called to pray for sick people and heal and restore the whole person and society.

Let us sing praise to our God.

Our God is gracious, and a song of praise is fitting.

God builds up Jerusalem; God gathers the outcasts of Israel.

God heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.

Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; God’s understanding is beyond measure.

The Lord lifts up the downtrodden and casts the wicked to the ground.

Come, let us worship our God!
