You are invited to join with the Knox family on Sunday, October 3, from 12:30
to 2:30 pm for a Welcome Back Gathering. This is a live outdoor event outdoor with small rotating groups inside the church sanctuary.
Visit, catch up with friends, have a “tour” around the sanctuary and other spaces in the church, and see how the space has been re-configured for use over the next many months of upcoming construction. Finally relax with a cup of refreshment, a wee dessert and more conversation!
October 3 is World Wide Communion Sunday, so it is an appropriate time for us to gather together and share a bit of food. Please remember that this is not a “lunch” event – only a bite of dessert.
If you are able to please bring along canned/packaged food donations for the virtual Thanksgiving Display which will be recorded during the following week.
You could choose to bring food donations such as squash or potatoes, but please avoid produce which can turn soft and unusable over the week. We sent a huge amount of food to First United community programming last year, and hope to repeat this year. We will have the Thanksgiving display set up for you to place any food items you are able to bring. There will be a cash box available if you prefer to make a cash donation and have someone else do the shopping!
