Overcoming Your Achilles’ Heel Syndrome

Based on Genesis 25:19-28 – “The Saga of the First Twins (Esau and Jacob)”

       Esau was the firstborn and stronger than his twin brother, Jacob.  He had everything going for him, but he never took it seriously.  He threw it all away.  His strongest link was his weakest link, his Achilles’ Heel.  We are all born with strength and weakness. Sometimes, our strongest link can be our Achilles’ Heel, our downfall, if we throw it away by wasting it.

We worship in your holy place and praise you for your truth and grace.

We kneel in worship facing your holy temple and say it again: “Thank you!”

Most holy is your name, most holy is your Word.

The moment we called out, you stepped in; you made our life large with strength.
