STEWARDSHIP III
“ More Than Bricks! ”
Based on 1 Kings 5: 1-5, 8:1-13 – Solomon Builds God’s Temple
Samuel built God’s temple. But even the splendor of Samuel’s Temple could not compare to God’s beauty. God calls us to serve God by building God’s temple, not to house God, but to resonate and incarnate God’s beauty in the world.

Call to Worship
The Peace of Christ is with you!
And also with you!
To those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints,
together with all those who in every place call on the name of
our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours; Grace to you
and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
(1Corinthians 1:2b-3)
For all the saints who went before us, who have spoken to our
hearts and touched us with your fire,
We praise you, O God.
For all the saints who live beside us, whose weaknesses and
strengths are woven with our own,
We praise you, O God.
For all the saints who live beyond us, who challenge us, to
change us, to change the world with them,
We praise you, God.
Candle Lighting
We light these candles in memory of those whose living and
dying has brought great joy and hope to our lives.
We will always miss them.
We remember them and how their lives touch and shape our
own.
