Facility Rentals

Constructed in 1948, Knox’s sanctuary is recognized for its beautiful interior and excellent acoustics.  It has been used for numerous concerts, events, and live music recordings.

• At this time, the sanctuary seats up to 250 people.
• The sanctuary has a center-aisle layout with good lighting and flexibility for many different altar space configurations.
• There is a front facing choir loft with 2 sections of 3 pews each, and a balcony with several rows of pews overlooking the sanctuary.
• Knox has leaded glass and stained-glass windows in the sanctuary.  The East West exposure creates displays of colour and beautiful lighting as the sun moves throughout the day, and the main stained glass window can be lit up for evening events.
• High-vaulted wood ceilings and pews (with cushions) lend a comfortable and open atmosphere while still offering the feeling of a traditional space.
• Knox offers various seating options.  Currently, the front half of the sanctuary space is filled with original wooden pews and the back half with movable cushioned seating.  However, the remaining pews are in storage, and arrangements can be made to use them for your event at an additional cost.
• The parking behind the church building lot is large and there’s free street parking out front, which allows building access from all sides.
• We offer AV services and the ability to livestream your event.
