A beloved and unique Knox United Church tradition, for All Saints Sunday, is the display of the Cloud of Witnesses banners. Names of loved ones from the Knox Burial Register, from the year prior to each All Saints Sunday are added to the banners each year, and the acetate sheets are hung on the pillars and walls of the Knox sanctuary. As people enter the church they are surrounded by the names of so many family members and friends – it is emotionally moving. Many of the sheets have been reprinted this year, and they currently span back to 1982. We have filmed the sheets for you to have a close look through them.
