Transformed by the Power of God
Based on John 20:19-31

Blue Candle Lighting and Prayer of Unburdening: in unison
Loving and compassionate God, we’ve gathered together this
morning to worship and to learn. We trust you are with us, calling to
us to join you in creating a world full of love and mercy, compassion
and abundance for all. Open our hearts to see you, to trust you and to follow you.
Forgive us for the times this week when we have kept our eyes
closed to the needs of others, when we have grown too tired to care
anymore. Forgive us when we have hurt ourselves and those we love.
Help us lay our burdens down just for a little while so that we can
fully embrace your call for us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
