Growing Our Larger Community

Instrumental Measures is a virtual concert series working with professional musicians & local businesses and organizations to provide them with an opportunity to perform & interact with the community.

Curated & Curious is a virtual art vlog to explore artists  – what they do, why they do it and how to share with the community and create a way for a new audience to be involved with Knox.

HelloKnox is a blog facilitating sharing and connection in the Vancouver community which features a large variety of write ups from bakers to home tips and tricks and personal stories.

Knox took part in the Living Streets Survey with was created by Vancouver Coastal Health to promote walking as an activity for health and fitness which helps with mental health and respite. 

Knox worked with UBC School of Nursing by having some congregants become volunteers to participate with nursing students, encouraging learning about the experience of aging and the day to day life of a senior

Knox has created this new website to facilitate all of the wonderful ways Knox is present for you and your community.

Growing Our Social Footprint

Knox has been growing it’s YouTube Channel which has allowed us to grow our presence on multiple web platforms and allow others to see examples of what Knox has to offer.

Knox is growing it’s Facebook presence by creating, sharing and interacting with neighbourhood content. We have become valuable to those that follow us in new ways.

Knox has created an Instagram account which allows us to communicate with new people who may not be aware of what Knox has to offer outside of church services.

Growing The Knox Community

Virtual Worship is a series of video-based sermons created to share worship with anyone at anytime. Knox invites the community as well as fellow congregants to gather in their own homes and share in messages of support, love and God.

The Knox Call Tree is a program that reaches out directly with those in our community to create and strengthen relationships as well as support those who may need it

Zoom Coffee Times offer community and a social opportunity that encourage sharing and outreach as well as support and communication.

The Letter-writing Project was an initiative set up through the Call Tree to promote community and strengthen Knox’s relationship with it’s congregants during these uncertain times.

Outside our Windows, a photo project that asked the community to share photos of the view outside their windows furthered connection with each other were gathered and shared through our website.

Digital Daffodil Cross – a familiar Knox tradition shared in a new way with submitted photos gathered and shared as one image through the website.
