Sharing Joy
Based on Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11
Prophet Isaiah declares Jubilee, “year of the Lord’s favour” to the Israelites. The Jubilee is a giant do-over; you get a second chance. Jesus goes deeper. For Jesus, it’s a do-over world, every day. He says to forgive seventy times seven – to forgive always. Jesus calls us to share joy to the world by living the life of do-overs, the life of forgiveness.
