When Enough Is Enough
Psalm 100 (VU 820), Ecclesiastes 5:10–20
Our culture tells us that more—more money, more success, more security—will finally bring peace. Ecclesiastes challenges that assumption. Wealth alone cannot satisfy the deeper hunger of the soul. Instead, the writer invites us to rediscover a quieter joy: the simple gift of daily work, shared meals, and gratitude for what we already have.

Ecclesiastes: “What Actually Lasts”
The book of Ecclesiastes speaks with rare honesty about life. It looks directly at the cycles of work, ambition, loss, wealth, and time—and asks the question many of us quietly carry: What actually lasts? Written from the perspective of a seasoned observer of life, Ecclesiastes does not rush to easy answers. Instead, it invites us to slow down, notice what is fleeting, and rediscover what gives life depth and meaning.
