Title: “Striving for Greatness and Success”

Text: Matthew 25: 14-30

Synopsis: The parable is about living in faith. It is about using the talents and gifts that are uniquely ours, investing them and taking risks by using them in our daily lives for God. The greatest risk of all to being great and successful as individuals and a community of faith is to risk, and care deeply and profoundly enough about something to invest ourselves deeply in it. We are called to care, love, rejoice and live up to our full potential by using all that we have and all that we are, to invest all of our gifts and talents in God and God’s ways. By doing so we realize God’s vision in and through us.
