Title: “Living With Memory and Hope”

Text: Matthew 25: 1-13

Synopsis: We are living with one foot in each time and place. We live with the memories of war and hate on one side and the vision and hope of peace and unity on the other side. The ways of the world on one side and the ways of God on the other. Our lives are made up of and include both all mixed up together. As disciples and followers we are caught in the middle of these two realities but are called to choose God. We are called to have the oil of life in our lives so that we can keep going no matter what. God invites us to be ready for the greatest party of all when Christ comes again.
